As Brown’s arrest came days after the NFL suspended Arizona Cardinals wide receiver for the first six games of the 2022 season due to violating the league’s performance-enhancing drug policy, many thought that Hopkins was arrested, as reported by meaww.

So, he was suspended for six games for violating the NFL’s performance-enhancing drug policy, but he was confused and shocked by the drug test.

Hopkins had missed all of the November game after his hamstring injury against the Packers and just returned for two games in December before missing the rest of the season.

So, Deandre tweeted that he has very mindful of what he eats and has been investigating with his team related to the test. But even careful as he was, he needed to be more detailed.

The player apologized to his Cardinals fans, team, and the entire Cardinal organization. The footballer didn’t want to let his team down and would let everyone know after the investigation.

Nonetheless, he accepted the suspension but again claimed innocence in the entire situation and that the NFL is too strict regarding positive PED tests. Still, he lost, and his teammates did not have complicated feelings about his absence and supported him.
