A man from Sydney, aged 26, has been apprehended by law enforcement officials concerning the killing of Taha Sabbagh outside Elite Fight Force in Sefton.

The incident occurred on March 2, when Taha Sabbagh, 40, was shot and killed outside the Elite Fight Force gym in Sefton, western Sydney.

Taha had been taking his 12-year-old son to the gym in his black Mercedes SUV at around 6:30 am when at least two suspected gunmen started shooting.

Detectives made the arrest, and the man was reportedly about to board a flight out of Australia.

Taha Sabbagh Shooting: What Happened In Sefton?

Taha Sabbagh, a celebrity chauffeur, was fatally shot outside an MMA gym, Elite Fight Force, in western Sydney on March 2 in front of his young son.

It occurred while he was dropping off his 12-year-old son at the gym in his black Mercedes SUV around 6:30 am, and at least two alleged gunmen opened fire.

A man has been charged with the alleged murder of him and was apprehended while attempting to leave the country and was dramatically handcuffed.

He was then taken to Surrey Hills police station, where he was charged with the murder of Taha Sabbagh on the same night.

A witness reported hearing six gunshots and a car speeding away. Later, a burnt-out Mazda 3 was found at a nearby train station.

When the witness arrived at the scene, they found Mr. Sabbagh’s 12-year-old son calling for help as his father lay slumped over the steering wheel.

Despite paramedics’ best efforts, Taha died at the scene, taking his last breath in front of his son.

Taha Sabbagh was a highly skilled driver who worked for multiple luxury chauffeur services in Sydney.

He often drove important clients to events and parties and couples on their wedding days.

He had the opportunity to drive famous people such as social media star Hasbulla and take photos with MMA stars Khabib Nurmagomedov, Islam Makhachev, and YouTuber Logan Paul.

A man who is 26 years old has been accused of murder for the shooting of a father of three and a well-known driver outside a gym in Sydney.

On Sunday, the police arrested the suspect at Sydney International Airport at around 3:30 pm while he was preparing to leave the country.

The man arrested for the murder of Sabbagh has been refused bail and is expected to appear at Downing Centre Local Court on Monday.

According to police, the Fairfield East man was allegedly involved in planning and coordinating the murder of Mr. Sabbagh.

Taha’s uncle described how he shielded his son when he was shot and questioned why someone would kill a good and quiet man with no criminal record.

After this news circulated, another relative wanted Sabbagh to be remembered as a family man.

The owner of one of the companies Sabbagh worked for praised him, saying he had been with the company for almost four years and was an exceptional driver.

The owner added that Sabbagh was a kind and happy person, always smiling and ready to help in any way he could.
