Ken Hartley was an educator from 2002-2013 at both Peach County Middle School and Taylor County Middle School and had served as assistant principal at Taylor County Middle School from 2013-2014, assistant principal at Peach County High School from 2015-2016 and principal from 2017-2022. He was currently serving as headmaster at Flint River Academy.

Ken’s passion for education was evident throughout his career as an educator and leader. In his role as assistant principal for both Taylor County Middle School and Peach County High School he strove to make sure all students had a positive school experience. His dedication to his profession paid off when he was named Principal of Peach County High School in 2017 where he continued to ensure that students had access to quality education opportunities in a safe learning environment. His hard work did not go unrecognized; he was promoted in 2021 to headmaster of Flint River Academy where he led by example while inspiring others with his enthusiasm for teaching and learning.
