Nevertheless, he accepted an invitation to an event in Batangas City where he sang three songs before feeling the effects of the stroke. Unfortunately, he did not make it back alive, as a hospital scan revealed a fatal blood clot on his brain indicating aneurysm. Despite attempts made by medical professionals to help him recover by suctioning out the blood from his brain, no positive outcome was brought forth and he succumbed to his condition in a coma five days later he died on Friday.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT: According to Jovit Baldivino’s parents, Mr. Hilario and Mrs. Cristeta Baldivino and Jovit’s girlfriend, Camille Ann Miguel, Jovit has been recovering from hypertension maintenance drugs for a week. Then a family friend from Batangas City invited him. The doctor advises not to sing while recovering. Knowing “Bundoy” (Jovit), he gave in to the clamor of the crowd. He sang 3 signature songs including Journey’s ‘Faithfully’. He was breathless in the 3rd song. An hour later while sitting, his face changed with saliva flowing. He was then rushed to the nearest ER at Nazareth of Jesus Hospital on December 3, 2022 around 10pm. CTscan showed a blood clot in the brain (sign of aneurysm). 100cc of blood was transfused at 2:00 AM on December 4, 2022. He was Comatose for 5 days and passed away this morning at 4:00 AM.
