Corbin was a three-sport athlete and had committed his future to St. Cloud State University—the top-ranked wrestling school in the NCAA Division II in 2020. He was a young man full of life and love, always lighting up every room he walked into with humor and support for those around him. His family, friends, and wrestling community were deeply loved by Corbin who never hesitated to help anyone in their time of need.

Corbin Okeson, a young man from North Dakota, died in a car accident in Minot recently. For the time being, it is unknown how he died; however, it is clear that his life was cut short at a young age. According to the officials sent to assist Corbin, they tried everything they could to save him, but nothing could be done. The cause of death must be serious injuries sustained in accident but exact cause of death is yet to be determined by authorities. Nonetheless, all we can do now is remember him and hope that he finds peace in the afterlife.

Corbin was a kind and generous person who touched the lives of everyone he met. He had a strong faith and was an active member of St. Leo the Great Roman Catholic Church. He participated in many church events and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.
Visitation for Corbin will be held on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, from 4 pm until 6 pm at St. Leo the Great Roman Catholic Church in Minot. A Vigil Prayer Service will follow at 6 pm.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at 10 am at St. Leo the Great Roman Catholic Church. The funeral mass will be live-streamed, allowing those who cannot attend in person to pay their respects. Corbin will be laid to rest at Rosehill Memorial Park in Minot.In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family for a future scholarship fund. Corbin made a lot of people laugh, even me when he added me on Snapchat – because I knew he only did it to aggravate YOU – so he could tell you he followed your mom! I was happy though, because that meant I could share video I took of him wrestling in the finals. I was able to send him a congrats and tell him I was proud of how well he did.
