“He was part of the class of ’92, at Manchester United, so he’s got a football background, and I’ve enjoyed watching him coach my sons. He’s top class,” Eddie said about Paul.

Edward John Frank Howe was born in Amersham, Buckinghamshire, England. The Howe boys were raised by their single mother, Anne Howe.

Sadly, Anne passed away from a short illness in March 2012 while Eddie was managing Burnley. Eddie credits her as his biggest inspiration and believes his sudden death gave him a humane perspective while dealing with players.

“My mum’s death certainly changed my perspective on a lot of things – on life, my career, and everything,” he told Bournemouth’s Daily Echo.

He mentioned that his mum’s loss was tough to deal with, but it made him reevaluate and realize what’s important in life.

Eddie has two older brothers, Dan and Charlie, and a younger half-brother named Steve Lovell, who used to play as a striker for Bournemouth.

The former Bournemouth manager is very loyal to his family and once signed now-retired Steve for the club in 2010.

Besides, Eddie is the uncle of Andy Howe, head of scouting at his current club Newcastle United.

Born on November 29, 1977, Eddie is currently 44, and his zodiac sign is Sagittarius.
