Mike Speight Accident: What happened to Mike Speight ?
On Saturday evening, the preliminary findings of the Georgia State Patrol’s investigation into a tragic accident were shared with the public. It revealed that the driver of a Ford Edge had caused it by following the Toyota Tacoma too closely before swerving to the left and entering an eastbound lane, where it fatefullly collided head-on with a grey Chevrolet Suburban that was travelling in the same direction.
Unfortunately, Whatley Hackley had earlier verified Mike and Leanne Speight’s identities as those involved in this crash, only for GSP not to disclose any information about them in its report. Even then Whatley knew nothing about any further serious injuries being sustained as consequences of this incident, claiming that both Mike and Leanne suffered from what was clearly fatal wounds caused by the impact of their vehicles clashing together at such speed.

Losing a friend is difficult, but losing two at the same time is unthinkable. Mike and Leanne, the couple who adored each other to no end! We’ll miss going to the beach with you two! Our experiences at Club 90 and at the lake. It won’t be the same. We will stay in touch with both of you in spirit, as we know you would prefer. Mrs. Leanne Merritt Speight, you will be my first thought every time I eat mayonnaise. This lady adored her mayonnaise. Mike Speight, every prank I pull on someone will be inspired by what you taught me… always have fun! Life is precious! Rest assured, my dear friends, we will never forget you!

My heart is broken by the loss of my former coworker Mike and his wife Leanne. While I didn’t know Mrs. Leanne well, I recall her being very nice. Mike truly illuminated any room he entered. He demanded your full attention. If he was in the office, he couldn’t and wouldn’t have a bad day. I’ll always remember the times he threw any stress ball he could get his hands on at me when I was completely unprepared, or when he squirted my sanitizer all over my desk every time he passed it. He was a riot of laughter, and his vivacious personality was unrivaled. He had such an impact on so many people.
