An Illinois nurse was discovered dead in her home last month, and her estranged husband has been arrested on suspicion of murder.

According to a report made on Monday by the Quincy Police Department, 39-year-old Timothy W. Bliefnick was detained on suspicion of killing 41-year-old Rebecca “Becky” Postle Bliefnick and breaking into her residence. 

The couple had three sons, and on February 23, a family member discovered Becky shot dead after she failed to pick up the youngsters from school.

The local news source Muddy River News stated that the pair had been divorced since February 2021. Tim’s appearance in a Family Feud episode garnered local attention in 2020.

The Quincy Police Department described Timothy Bliefnick’s arrest as a significant advancement in the pursuit of Rebecca’s justice, even though the investigation is ongoing.

According to Reilly, Becky always imagined herself engaging in hands-on work in the medical field. Therefore her decision to become a nurse was not unexpected. She continued by saying that it was her actual calling because it allowed her to provide people comfort and compassion every day.

Online obituaries claim that Becky was a candidate for the international Daisy Award, which recognizes outstanding nurses. She was characterized as the epitome of a “boy mom,” deeply devoted to her family.
