DeAndre Hopkins was traded from the Houston Texans to the Arizona Cardinals on 16th March 2020 in exchange for running back David Johnson, a second-round draft pick, and a fourth-round 2021 draft pick.
The move was widely seen as a major coup for the Cardinals, as Hopkins is considered one of the best wide receivers in the NFL.
In his first season with the Cardinals, the athlete had an outstanding year, with 115 receptions for 1,407 yards and six touchdowns.

He added, “I’m a present-day person. I’m currently a member of the Arizona Cardinals squad and roster. I’m getting ready for whatever the future may bring. I’ll let you people talk about the future; I don’t really look forward to it.”
Deandre’s no-trade clause reportedly became void following his six-game suspension from last season, placing his faith in the hands of Arizona, a club that might decide to move on from Hopkins as it enters a rebuilding period.
